Cuyahoga Valley National Park is located in Northeastern Ohio near Cleveland and Akron. The park includes 33,000 acres along the Cuyahoga River. The Cuyahoga Valley has lush upland forests, steep valley ravines and walls, and rolling floodplains. There are rugged backcountry trails, graded hiking and biking trails, the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, winding through this refuge of fauna and flora. There is the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad, fishing, birdwatching, ranger guided programs, concerts, art exhibits and a variety of historical, natural and cultural resources at Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
The Weather in Cuyahoga Valley National Park has four distinct seasons with hot and humid summers, cloudy, cold and snowy winters, spring has warming temperatures and rain and the fall gives some relief from the heat as the nights cool.
